I saw the idea of having a clothes organizer for each day and wanted to try it. I wanted one that was hanging (floor space is a minimum in my little guy's closet) and one that was already labeled (I know myself and know that if I just had the plan to label it, it would be another project that never gets done). I also wanted one that was cheap because it is in the closet, so no one but my family sees it. This organizer checks all of those boxes.
First, I want to recommend the process of choosing clothes for the week to everyone. This is the most amazing and easy thing to do to make the morning run more smoothly. My little one is under two, so the act of dressing him is not too hard in the morning. But having the clothes pre-set out is just one less decision I have to make each morning. I also know I have enough laundry for him to make it through the week, which is always good.
I generally do laundry on Saturday and Sunday. I look at the forecast for the whole week and choose an outfit for each morning (including socks) and put them in the organizer. I also put pajamas in for each day of the week. This way I have to put 0 thought into Parker's clothes for the week. One less decision in the mornings and no more looking for clothes in the morning (where are all the socks?!).
Added Bonus: My husband usually leaves outfit choice up to me for Parker. So by laying everything out in advance, he knows exactly what I want Parker to wear for the day (and night).
It just makes things easier.
